An intimate charity gig comes to The Cluny on Tuesday 12th December, as Lindisfarne fans have a unique chance to see the band play as they warm up for their legendary Newcastle City Hall Christmas shows.

The Tyneside folk rockers will perform the special live set at The Cluny venue in Newcastle in aid of the Future Fund which is the band’s chosen charity. The Future Fund backs world-leading and ground-breaking research into children’s cancers at Newcastle University. For the past three years the band have backed the charity through their live Christmas shows at Newcastle City Hall.

This year with the added bonus of proceeds from the intimate Cluny live show to be added to their City Hall dates, the band have really outdone themselves. The revitalised group have had a mega busy year, which shows no signs of letting up yet.

The band is now fronted by founding member and songwriter Rod Clements alongside Lindisfarne stalwarts Charlie Harcourt, Dave Hull-Denholm, Ian Thomson, Steve Daggett and former Roxy Music drummer Paul Thompson.

Up Close and Seasonal is the loose name for this very special charity gig, which will be the perfect festive treat for anyone heading to the City Hall Christmas dates later in the month on Friday 22nd December and Saturday 23rd December.
