Reliably informed

After his debut solo show Ultimate Worrier proved a huge success when he performed it at The Stand last year, (read about it here) stand-up comedian Lee Kyle is back with another show I Came Here To Burn This Place To The Ground And Make A Table And I’m All Out Of Table Making Equipment… And Matches. The title is suitably ludicrous for one of the most inventive and silly comedians around, and Lee’s fresh, original brand of humour will arrive at The Stand, Newcastle on Sunday 3rd April.

It’s a show about frustration, acceptance, shyness and more, but mainly, it’s just a very funny man being brilliantly daft. A regular performer at comedy clubs all over the country, his skill as a compere and headliner lead to him giving off an immense warmth and likeability from the moment he steps on the stage. Opening the show is the quite wonderful Sammy Dobson, her cheeky sense of humour displays intelligent writing and her exuberant nature (evident in her role as co-host with Lee on the Which Is The Best? Podcast) could be the perfect warm-up to what is sure to be a phenomenally fun evening of comedy from two of the North East’s finest.

Lee Kyle plays The Stand, Newcastle on Sunday 3rd April.
