Tyne Theatre and Opera House have put together a lovely comedy event for Saturday 19th December, as Laffs4Kids is a show in aid of Cash For Kids, and promises to be a fantastic night’s entertainment; all in aid of a very worth charity.

It’s a line-up containing lots of local favourites too, as Hebburn creator Jason Cook, introduces fellow Hebburn stars Chris Ramsey, Steffen Peddie and Alfie Joey alongside other top comedy talent Billy Mitchell and Mickey Hutton. It’s a line-up packed with some of the best names going in comedy, with just one of those acts being worth it alone; they’re all a guarantee to have you laughing your Christmas stockings off.

The price of admission is merely bringing a (unwrapped) gift for a child, and the nominal admin fee of £1 for pre-booking the ticket. With some 40,000 children across the North East living in poverty, and not getting presents this Christmas, this gig is a wonderful idea. The chance to play Santa yourself, do something for a good cause, and ho ho ho all night long is the perfect way to spend the last Saturday before Christmas.

Laff4kids is at Tyne Theatre, Newcastle on Saturday 19th December.
