Reliably informed

Having supported some downright legends on tour previously, British band Kitty, Daisy and Lewis certainly have a very rich pedigree. More importantly though, they also have a very unique sound, drawing on a plethora of influences for something that pleases the ears in a tremendously original way. They’ll be bringing that quirky sound to The Cluny on Sunday 31st January.

Their third studio album was released in March of last year, and while the fanfare it was released to was, at best, reasonable, the reviews were very positive. Drawing on country, rockabilly, jazz, r&b, blues and so much else of the best music has to offer, there’s a richness to all they do, in densely well written songs.

The three siblings front and centre of the five-piece are all multi-instumentalists which gives a raw energy that’ll be transfixing live, and you can’t really ask for much more than that.

Kitty, Daisy and Lewis play The Cluny, Newcastle on Sunday 31st January.
