Inverted Grim-Mill Recordings are bringing some fantastic noise to Northumberland Arms on Friday 11th December. Four bands put together, with a selection of some more established bands from the industrial scene mixed with some newer bands just starting to make a name for themselves.

Khost bring their experimental take on what is best described as industrial sludge, and are fresh from touring with Godflesh, and are really starting to make quite the name for themselves. Pulverising riffs are just one part of a band that are a fantastic live act.

Leeds based Gloomweaver are a newish three piece, influenced by the likes of Ufomammut, Yob and Grief, there’s only one track to sample from the band online in advance, so this gig is a great chance to find out all about what this band has to offer.

Xazzaz provide noisy experimental music, through isolated droning and guitars, and they provide this loud, very loud.

Rounding out the bill, Steckdose, travel from Teesside to play a big slice of glambient industrial music.

It’s a jam packed line-up of bands, expect volume, and an evening of dirty, sludgy noise.

Khost, Gloomweaver, Xazzaz and Steckdose play Northumberland Arms, Newcastle on Friday 11th December.
