The People’s Bookshop are set to welcome immensely talented singer songwriter Kathryn Williams to the Durham venue on Sunday 5th November, with the intimate setting the perfect backdrop for her intimate music.

With an eclectic mix of influences, it all makes for captivating artist who is constantly evolving and pushing her output in new directions. Kathryn’s last appearance in Durham was in October of 2016 when she performed her 2015 album, Hypoxia at The Durham Book Festival. Hypoxia is a lyrically and sonically ambitious set of songs inspired by
Sylvia Plath’s novel The Bell Jar which was co-produced by Ed Harcourt to critical acclaim.

This show sees the Mercury nominated and critically acclaimed folk artist bringing her amazing sounds to the ideal place for her to showcase that bit of something special she brings.

Kathryn Williams plays the People’s Bookshop, Durham on Sunday 5th November.
