Reliably informed

John Whale has built a reputation as one of the most inventive comics in the North East, with original routines standing out as the core of an act that regularly delivers at comedy clubs up and down the country. It’s surprising that this is going to be his first solo show (well solo but with the super talented musician Kieran Rafferty) and makes it all the more exciting to see what he comes up with.

Taking place at The Stand in Newcastle on Sunday 24th September, the duo have teamed up to produce their own inimitable pirate radios show: Call Me Ishwhale. Come aboard for something you really won’t see anywhere else as this unique blend of comedy and music should make for something very memorable.

Rafferty’s music has long been a NARC favourite, forging a real earnest charm in all that he does, and combining this with Whale’s knack for comedy that really thinks outside the box, this is a Sunday of top comedic fun.
