Reliably informed

In a world where individualisation and polarisation seems to be shaping the world in which we live, it’s nice to see people going the other way and embracing the long lost art of collaboration. This cooperative approach will be on display on Wednesday 9th October when Base Camp, Middlesbrough are teaming up with promoter and record label Sad For Life and the promotional/creative arts arm of Teesside’s rock duo Mouses, Art Mouse, to put on a show featuring a collaborative musical project from the Netherlands.

Jellephant, Christopher Walkman and Kinsmit are musicians, composers and performers in their own right. For this extra-special show, they will be their blending their different musical styles to create an ‘on the road cocktail’ of sound, with notes of folk, dream-pop and various other styles.

It will be a relaxed and cosy affair with seats and candlelight that will promote harmony and togetherness. Doors are at 7pm and it’s a pay what you decide affair, so let your heart decide how deep into your wallet or purse you should go.
