Jason Cook’s Comedy Club is back again this month, and celebrating a first birthday, after putting on some of the biggest and best comedy shows over the last twelve months. The birthday celebrations are happening at The Customs House on Saturday 8th October.
As ever, the show is held together by curator and host, Jason Cook; who shows why he’s one of the most respected stand-ups around. This month, also in keeping with usual tradition, features two further headline quality acts, in the shape of storytelling curmudgeon Mick Ferry and the smart but incredibly sharp Markus Birdman. With Nick Dixon filling the middle spot, South Shields is in for a lot more rib tickling fun, and long may it continue.
