For the first time in eight years, world renowned singer and technological guru Imogen Heap is heading back on tour, bringing her show to Sage Gateshead on Monday 11th November. In a career that has spanned over two decades, Heap has carved out a unique sound which places a love for all things tech-based right at the forefront of her music. This new tour is of course no exception, with plans to bring content creators, musicians and fans together in a totally new format. Alongside performances from the newly reformed Frou Frou with longtime collaborator Guy Sigsworth, there will be talks, exhibitions and workshops for attendees to get involved with.

The purpose of the tour is to launch the highly anticipated Mycelia’s Creative Passport – a typically forward-thinking project that aims to create a natural and decentralised platform for musicians to connect and share their music. It will act like a real passport of sorts, with personal information, IDs, acknowledgments and collaborators all sitting alongside a ‘smart contract’ system which aims to make direct payments much easier and faster.

The Sage Gateshead event will be the first of three shows in England on a tour that comprises of a whopping 40 cities, and will be a must attend event for anyone that wants to see this totally unique artist begin her next exciting project.
