Exciting announcement are made for the 2019 return of the music festival

The first wave of acts have been confirmed for next year’s Hit The North Festival in Newcastle. Jake Bugg, Tom Grennan, The Blinders, Catherine McGrath, Blaenavon and Dylan Cartlidge are the initial set of incredible acts announced ready to make a big splash for 2019’s May Bank Holiday.
With big successes over the last two years, the inner city music event has established a reputation for diverse and ambitious line-ups. The main event takes place on Sunday 5th May, with rising stars given a platform alongside major headline artists, with some of the city’s most established music venues and interesting spaces giving stages to talented singer-songwriters like Jake Bugg and rioutously fun bands like The Blinders.
