A throwback sound similar to that of the psychedelic 60s, albeit infused with layers of garage rock, will echo through Middlesbrough when Londoners Hidden Charms grace on music hotspot The Keys on Tuesday 7th July. Having worked with Shel Talmy, producer of The Kinks and The Who, these mod-inspired lads are well on their way to forming a similar subculture following, with their debut track Sunny Side receiving praise from major music broadcasters.

They’ll be joined by Teesside favourites and indie specialists John & The Ragmen, who will be raring to go again, having spent some time in studio on new material. Expect to hear up-beat tunes and alluring vocals that will get the night going ahead of the headline act.

This gig is the perfect opportunity for a close-up glance at a group of lads who are making waves across the nation for their slick nostalgic numbers; just don’t get distracted by their even cooler clobber.
