Swaying through a picture of a familiar city right at the moment of destruction, new play Heads Up asks how we’d cope if we found ourselves at the end of the world, and it comes to Northern Stage, Newcastle on Tuesday 11th April.
Written and directed by Kieran Hurley (Beats, Chalk Farm, Hitch), Heads Up intertwines stories rich in their depiction of modern lives. Teens, finance workers, celebrities and more form the crux of a cast of fascinating characters. Co-directed by Alex Swift (Caroline Horton’s Mess) and Julia Taudevin (Blow Off, Chalk Farm) there is some real talent behind this piece, with a formidable talent in Hurley at the helm.
