Reliably informed

Full of hard hitting honesty accompanied with a feel-good British quality, Glass City Vice will be smashing their way through the backstage doors when they’re let loose on to the Independent stage in Sunderland on Saturday 18th April.

Having powered through over 250 heavy hitting shows since forming in 2010, the Brighton-bread quartet have been turning heads by comfortably supporting the likes of You Me At Six, Don Broco and Dry the River.

With all eyes firmly on making that headline slot their own and with a little help from producer Max Hayes (Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller, Jamiroquai) the alt-rockers have released a signature track in Landslide, a single that holds clear influences from the likes of Kevin Devine,  Death Cab For Cutie and Manchester Orchestra.

Joining the headliners in Sunderland will be local lads Cohesion who will be hoping to follow in the same footsteps as Glass Vice City, as they hold an impressive backlog of support slots in the shape of Franke and the Heartstrings, Drenge as well as sharing the stage with The Cribs, Dizzee Racal and Maximo Park along the way.

A set-up like this will struggle to be surpassed throughout the year.

Glass City Vice and Cohesion play at Independent, Sunderland on Saturday 18th April.
