Reliably informed

After saving the day at last month’s NARC. Fest (the Hartlepool boys traipsed across the North East to perform an epic set at The Tyne Bar after a last minute cancellation), heavy rockers Future Horizons are on course to wow crowds again at Think Tank? on Wednesday 9th August as part of their UK tour.

The four-piece’s darkly dissonant soundscapes take the listener on a thrilling ride of eclectic time signatures and punishing riffs; thanks to a heavy aesthetic and heady dynamics, they’re fast becoming one of the region’s ‘go to’ radgy rockers, and their utterly enthralling live show is not to be missed.

Support comes from the frankly awesome Cauls, who finally released their long awaited debut record, Recherche back in April. The culmination of (what felt like) several years of intense writing and recording, the album is the sound of a band who finally know what they’re meant to be: loud, wildly complicated and completely thrilling. Also performing will be Newcastle five-piece Tiny Mind, who bring melodic math rock to the table for what promises to be headache-inducing (in a good way) night of technically brilliant music. Get thee there.
