Fancy a brilliantly unique, quirky and above all silly little comedy show once a month? Comedy promoters Freshly Ground Comedy are offering a brand new comedy night at the lovely intimate space of Ouseburn’s Tower Café, focussing on acts who combine endearing storytelling and charmingly daft asides in equal measure.

The first show in what will be a monthly showcase at the Tower Café, the night is promising a bevvy of comedy talent from across the region. Alongside regular host and co-founder of Freshly Ground Comedy Si Beckwith, the show will feature sets from David Callaghan, Sammy Dobson, John Whale, Hal Branson and Joby Mageean.

Keeping with the spirit of the Tower Cafe’s usual entry fees, the show is also pay what you like, so you can be as generous as you like! But with so many brilliant acts on offer and a cosy, unique environment to experience them in, we think you’ll might want to part with a little bit of cash by the end of the night…

Freshly Ground Comedy comes to The Tower Café Newcastle on Sunday 31st May.
