If you like your comedy as fresh as your coffee, Freshly Ground Comedy Club have a handful of local shows that will certainly whet your whistle this month. Teaming up with Broken Mic Comedy and Clear And Loud, the pay-what-you-think stand-up comedy shows at The Tower Café on Sunday 19th and Blake’s Coffee House on Sunday 26th July offer a plethora of chortling goodness. The regular nights give both well-seasoned comedians and newbies to the trade the opportunity to take to the stage and try out their skills. The Tower Café gig will host top acts John Scott, Joby Mageean, Andy Clark and Jack Gardner; while headlining at Blake’s is Andy Fury, alongside regular MC Si Beckwith.

Two top nights of silliness and hilarity are promised, don’t forget to give generously at the end!

Freshly Ground Comedy Club takes place at The Tower Café in Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley on Sunday 19th and Blake’s, Newcastle on Sunday 26th July.
