It’s a welcome return for the 24th edition of the French Film Festival UK which arrives at Tyneside Cinema with a showcase of the best of contemporary French cinema from Friday 18th November until Thursday 1st December.

There’s another incredible selection on show too, kicking off on Friday 18th with warm and witty drama Rosalie Blum, then on Saturday 19th is old-fashioned romantic weepie From The Land Of The Moon, with mesmerising animation The Red Turtle on Monday 21st. Sunday 27th welcomes The Death Of Louis XIV, followed by In Bed With Victoria on Monday 28th, before it’s all brought to a close with darkly atmospheric shock-thriller Made In France on Thursday 1st December. There’s plenty here for the film fanatics and Francophiles amongst us, and this is a season of some truly special cinema.

The French Film Festival is at Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle from Friday 18th November until Thursday 1st December.
