Punk rock fans rejoice! Sunderland heroes Former Cell Mates are back after a four year hiatus, injecting their raucous yet infectiously hook-laden noise into the ears of the North East once again. Formed in 2004 by members of Los Coyote Men, Leatherface, The Golden Virgins and The Mercury League, the new incarnation of Former Cell Mates features faces old and new. David Lee Burdon, David R Lyon and Greg Robson join forces once again, with Dan Shannon and Ricky Murray joining the FCM gang to make blisteringly beautiful punk-rawk.

Hosted by legendary local promoters Iron Fisted Champion, Former Cell Mates will make their comeback at The Museum Vaults, Sunderland on Thursday 6th August, with support from those stalwarts of the Newcastle rock scene, Mansions of Glory. Those of you who may be unfamiliar with MoG should check out These Bodies Won’t Bury Themselves on YouTube and soak up those glorious riffs. Entry is completely free, but The Museum Vaults are rather compact, so get down early to avoid missing out on this punk rock extravaganza!
