A mere stone’s throw away from bustling Tyneside, Festival on the Wall is a brand new boutique festival taking place in Northumberland between Friday 4th and Sunday 6th August.

A line-up teaser has already been announced and FOTW is aiming high with veteran electro-pop legends Pet Shop Boys topping a bill that also includes The Libertines, Mark Ronson, Twin Atlantic and Maximo Park. With more acts to be announced; it’s definitely one to keep your eyes on.

Seeking to create a “unique, immersive event” FOTW is looking to break the mould of many mainstream festivals by putting the experience of the attendee front and centre. With a focus on sustainability and partnering up with UNICEF, there’s evidently a desire to do things a little bit differently.

Arts and alternative activities are also in abundance with on-site Roller Disco, hot tubs, the intriguingly titled Beefy Melons and, Karavaneoke which promises a number of party caravans around the site where you can party with your friends and grab the mic yourself. Light shows and artisan crafts team up in Witchcraft Woods and late-night movies can be viewed at the on-site cinema.

There’s also the opportunity to sample food and drink in every form imaginable from restaurant standard fine dining to global street food and artisan markets.

Tickets for Festival On The Wall are available now here.
