The Ouseburn Valley is set to welcome phenomenal emerging musical talent for the ninth year in a row, as Evolution Emerging showcases just how strong our region’s music scene is, and will continue to be. Saturday 27th May is the date to mark in your diary, as the headliners announced today make this a festival not to be missed.
Generator have just revealed that 21st Century soul sensation Lulu James will take centre stage at the Cluny, for this hotly anticipated event. There’s fellow North East rising stars Coquin Migale, the alternative indie sounds of Eat Fast along with Chad Male’s Cape Cub, and the raw, mesmerising music of Bryde. Emerging songstress Keiandra will also perform, plus Newcastle Singer-Songwriter Fletcher Jackson and indie trio Blesh.
It’s another immensely strong selection of headliners, following on from another hugely successful year in 2016, and the North East’s finest independent venues are set to be packed once more. With a full line-up announcement set for Monday 6th March, Evolution Emerging can’t come around quick enough.
