Tyneside Cinema are offering up a fascinatingly fun experience, featuring four films, a meal, yoga and coffee as part of their wonderful Enjoy The Silence programme, which runs there from Wednesday 9th until Sunday 13th November.
It all starts with Supper Club: Sensory Dinner on Wednesday 9th, a ‘dark’ dinner experience where you will be given a blindfold to wear whilst eating to heighten the senses. The fun picks up on Friday 11th with In Pursuit Of Silence, an exploration on the impact noise has on our lives, and the positive effect a lack of it could have too. Saturday 12th sees a special screening of Her, the Spike Jonze comedy is followed by a panel discussion too. There’s an introductory Yoga class on Sunday 13th, followed by Patricio Guzmán’s awe-inspiring exploration of the wonders of the night sky, Nostalgia For The Light with riveting documentary Life Off Grid rounding it all out. There’s a lot to take in, and every bit of it will have an impact in some truly inspiring ways.
