Reliably informed

The Endless Window shows are a monthly highlight of some of the most eclectic, inventive and original music around. Pulling in some top acts from around the country alongside regional favourites and championing those who dare to do things a little different. The monthly highlights lead to a yearly one with Festive Window returning to The Cumberland Arms on Saturday 30th December, with all proceeds raised being donated to Shelter and their work to combat homelessness.

The show welcomes the quite beautiful quirky, melancholic indie of Slow Decades. Their second album was launched back in March with Endless Window so they make perfect sense for a return here. Baker Island‘s unique brand of fuzz indie pop brings riffs and a sharp wit, through a joyously alternative noise that make them a real North East favourite. Jennifer Walton returns after a show-stealing set at Evolution Emerging, and Me Lost Me I Lost My bring folk melody, industrial textures and minimal loops.

There’s nowhere else you could find festive fun quite like this.

Festive Window is at The Cumberland Arms, Newcastle on Saturday 30th December.
