Alternative pop rockers Elephant Memoirs are set to release their third EP No Pressure No Rush this February following a busy few months.

Since releasing their second EP Broken Jagged Edges back in October 2016, the Gateshead-based trio have secured airtime on UK, American and French radio stations whilst also attracting the attention of Tom Robinson for his BBC Radio 6 show Fresh on the Net.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Kyle Martin at The Garage Studios in South Shields, the band’s latest EP retains Elephant Memoirs’ distinctive raw sound whilst offering a sprinkling of pop. Strong similarities to Twin Atlantic and Biffy Clyro run throughout as the energetic Homework kicks off the six-track playlist. Jagged basslines and raucous drums earnestly crash around frontman and guitarist John Aspinall’s vocals; if rambunctious, unapologetic rock is your usual go-to genre, make sure this EP is on your playlist.

To coincide with their EP release, Elephant Memoirs will be holding a launch gig at Little Buildings in Newcastle on Saturday 10th February, with support from fellow local bands Echolines and Slurs.
