Reliably informed

Some shows just sell themselves, this is one of them. Darsombra describe themselves as ‘trans-apocalyptic galaxy rock’ and the two-piece from Maryland, USA are a sight and sound to behold. A mix of psych rock, drone rock, stoner rock, prog rock and all other sorts of wonderful that experienced live turns into ‘a symbiotic audio-visual show that creates a temporary reality, woven by sight, sound and movement’.

Having prolifically toured for well over a decade throughout North America, Asia, and Europe, at music venues, dive bars, house shows, galleries, festivals, city ruins, and storage units, the band will find themselves at The Cluny 2, Newcastle on Sunday 5th May. Worship at the altar that is their music, let it broaden your horizons and bathe in its celestial warmth.

Still not sure whether it’s for you? Then put aside 40 minutes of your time, watch a couple of their videos on YouTube and be taken along the transcendental plains that will lead you to the ticket office, or laptop if you book online.

Supporting is experimental space-folk artist Nathalie Stern. Advance tickets are £6 (+ booking fee).
