Following a multi-million pound restoration, and 18 months of excitement, Darlington Hippodrome open their doors to a season of thrilling theatre and some spectacular shows over the next several months.

It all kicks off in true festive fashion, with Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs pantomime running until Sunday 14th January.

A series of week-long shows for all tastes kicks off with New Jersey Nights from Tuesday 16th until Saturday 20th January, a spectacular celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Son of a Preacher Man arrives from Saturday 6th until Wednesday 10th February is an all-new show featuring the greatest hits of Dusty Springfield.

Greats like Blood Brothers (Tuesday 20th-Saturday 24th February) and David Walliams’ classic Awful Auntie (Wednesday 28th February-Sunday 4th March) also hit the boards. Broadway smash-hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong comes to Darlington from Monday 5th until Saturday 10th March; and if you like a spot of Disney music then you must not miss A Spoonful of Sherman from Monday 12th-Wednesday 14th March.

There’s even more to come throughout the year at both the Hippodrome and The Hullabaloo theatre, a brand new 170-seat studio theatre located next door, with comedians like Patrick Monahan (Friday 26th January), Tony Law (Sunday 4th March), Stewart Lee (Tuesday 20th March) and Jason Cook (Saturday 28th April) bringing laughs aplenty.
