The chance to hear an artist talk about their work and their career is a rare one which needs to be taken. It’s a chance to glimpse behind the curtain, see what was intended, find nuanced feelings hidden within works you’ve seen and maybe find some inspiration of your own. Internationally renowned photographer Dan Holdsworth is giving that chance at Cleveland College of Art and Design on Wednesday 27th January.

Having had work exhibited around the world, including solo shows at BALTIC and Barbican Art Gallery as well as group shows at Tate Britain and Centre Pompidou, Holdsworth has a rich pedigree and hearing him talk about his work is sure to be an engaging listen. Creating large-scale photographs and digital art characterised through long exposure times and a clever use of traditional techniques, Dan Holdsworth is a creative at the top of his game and hearing him talk about his career is a must for anyone with an interest in photography.
