Post-punks Crumbs bring their pop party to Little Buildings next week all the way from Leeds/York, with tracks from their debut album set to be on show. It’s garnered lots of positive words so far, so the show on Friday 17th November from promoters Confusion Is Next and The Human Fungus should be one almighty party.

New album Mind Yr Manners has set the band’s stall out with the album bristling with poppy energy, dirty little bass lines and a fast-paced slice of awesome fun. There are still darker numbers, drawing on an authentic post-punk vibe, and a captivating, subtle energy. Support comes from Shy-Talk, who are set for very big things, with their Pissed Jeans/Metz worship with added synth. The gig also features Competition, the current project of Craig Pollard (formerly of Baskin’s Wish & Rice Milk) who’s been called ‘Newcastle’s answer to Calvin Johnson.’ Prepare for some sleek, experimental pop music.

Crumbs, Shy-Talk and Competition play Little Buildings on Friday 17th November.
