With Glastonbury Festival just around the corner, it’s exciting times for the many bands getting to play there, and North East natives The Cornshed Sisters are one we should be very proud will be representing us. They’ll be warming up for their Glastonbury appearance with a very special show at B&D studios, Newcastle on Thursday 16th June.

The band will be performing songs from their critically acclaimed debut album, Tell Tales, as well as previewing new music from their forthcoming sophomore release. Their captivating all-girl folk harmonies should prove to be a major hit this summer, as will their unique blend of folk tales, protest songs, country music, piano ballads and gospel. Ably supported by talented songwriters Rhys Patterson and John Edgell, this is a stand-out gig from some very talented folk.

The Cornshed Sisters play B&D Studios, Newcastle on Thursday 16th June.
