The Corbridge Festival returns after its brief hiatus in 2018, promising to bring a weekend of fun and festivities to the Northumbrian village once again on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June. You can expect to see a mix of local talent, as well as all kinds of exciting acts from further afield too.

Up and coming artists are given an excellent platform alongside the usual big headliners, which include the indefinable New York trio Fun Lovin’ Criminals, who will bring their wholly unique sound to centre stage on Saturday night, and they’ll be joined by newly reinvigorated local indie rockers The Futureheads, who will tease tracks from their forthcoming new album. Brit-pop legends Reef – not just the artists behind the smash hit ear-worm Place Your Hands, but high calibre musicians with plenty more catchy tunes up their sleeves – promise to end the Friday main stage with a suitably energetic bang.

Also of note is Gomez songwriter Ben Ottewell, perennial festival favourites The Baghdaddies, indie rockers Only The Poets, local songwriter Dan Donnelly, pit-folk supremos Dennis, rising hip-hop star Kay Greyson, indie dream popsters SPINN, revered performer Martha Hill, indie folk pop duo Tall Shaves, harmony-drenched lovelies The Cornshed Sisters, electro trio Twist Helix, rising indie rock band Hakara and many more besides.

Add to all that comedy shows, a drum circle, circus, ukulele workshop, a family rave, fairground, yoga, camping and more food and drink than you can shake a glow stick at, and it seems Tynedale Park is the place to be.
