Featuring the delightful tagline ‘beer, bands and beach’, we can’t think of anything else that would make us happier than what’s on offer at Coquetfest, the brand new festival on the block in Northumberland.

Offering a superb location at Druridge Bay Country Park in Northumberland, just a stone’s throw from the stunning dunes of Druridge Bay itself, the festival takes place from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th September and, aside from the aforementioned necessities, also offers camping at a ludicrously low price (£25 for the weekend – the view’s worth that alone!).

There’s a range of bands on offer, including eight-piece funk, soul and disco groovers Juggernaut Love Band and rockabilly and ska experts Fickle Lilly on the Friday evening, indie-popster Charlie Dancer, the supreme talents of experimental pop artist The Shooting Of…, country and skiffle act Carl Cape Band, pit pop pioneers Dennis, masked hip-hop duo The Great & The Magnificent and Edinburgh-based ska outfit Bombskare on Saturday, while Sunday welcomes such talents as alt. folk band Gilded Thieves and acoustic duo We Steal Flyers among others.

Plus there’s over 40 craft and trade stalls to cater to your every whim, a vintage motorbike and vehicles display and much more besides.

Coquetfest takes place from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th September at Druridge Bay Country Park, Northumberland.
