Reliably informed

Gracefool Collective, a four woman strong company of “post-intellectual-pseudo-spiritual-feminist-comedy-dance-makers for the modern day era” are bringing clever, witty, genre-busting theatre out on tour, and their new show Convicts and Lunatics comes to Queen’s Hall Arts Centre in Hexham on Friday 9th December.

This amusing, thought-provoking double bill spans hundreds of years of wayward women with dangerous ideas. Red Ladder Theatre Company’s critically acclaimed one-woman musical drama Wrong ‘Un is the story of a Lancashire mill-girl’s journey from schoolroom to prison cell and beyond. A century on, and exciting new dance theatre company Gracefool Collective will bend over backwards, attempting to exist as 3D, high definition, water-drinking, salad-eating, moisturizing WO-men in This Really Is Too Much. Tales of suffrage meet exciting dance theatre in an incredible combination of two shows.
