Need a treat or a gift for that awkward bugger in your family? Middlesbrough’s House of Blah Blah’s Christmas Market on Saturday 9th December has you covered for quirky gifts, plus there’s some top scran and live entertainment.

Traders attending include the likes of artist, musician and all-round clever arty bod Kingsley Chapman, who will be selling his customised Trashterpiece t-shirts; Hartlepool’s vintage clothing emporium Two Time Champ; Record This present their music-themed apparel; Bohemian clothing shop Saint Boutique head along from their store in ‘Boro’s trendy Baker Street; while if quirky graphics, pugs and mermaids are your thang, Not For Ponies have clothing just for you.

For something completely different, art and needle felting is available to buy from quirky designers The Bird Box; students from Cleveland College of Art & Design showcase their artwork prints and embroidery; designer Slutmouth offers up some quirky crafts; while Betty & The Love Cats provide badges and unusual artwork.

Organisers also promise live art portraits, face painting, Christmas décor, crafts, photography, a whole host of food including stalls from That Cake Ltd and Bedlows Kitchen, plus swinging sounds from 60s covers band The Phat Tyrtles.
