Opening on Saturday 7th July, a new exhibition comes to Bowes Museum to celebrate the life of an iconic fashion photographer whose career has spanned decades and whose stunning images still show some incredible images from catwalk shows.

Spanning across three galleries, the study of Chris Moore is as comprehensive as you could wish it to be, with the revolutionary photographer’s original images on show and charting fashion through his lens. Presented alongside some mesmerising catwalk outfits from some of the world’s leading fashion houses has some amazing unseen photographs too.

For fashion fans, it’s a chance to see behind the curtain of some very talented creatives, and for photography fans it’s a chance to see work from a master of his craft. The now eighty four year old is still incredibly well respected with a legacy that will last way longer than even his lengthy career. With an unusual feature of the exhibition will be a paper catwalk created by installation artist Steve Messam, this is a unique exhibition that’ll leave a big impression.

CATWALKING: Fashion through the Lens of Chris Moore opens on Saturday 7th July and runs until Sunday 6th January 2019.
