Fancy spending the night in the company of a comedy trailblazer? Joining as MC for ARC’s latest edition of rib-tickling stand-up series Catch 22 on Friday 27th September is none other than Mandy Knight, the first female comedian to compere at The Comedy Store. A winner of countless awards (including Time Out Best Female Comic), she is loved by fellow comics and punters alike and promises to bring a myriad of witticisms to the night.

Joining Mandy on the bill is Steve Harris, who has more than a few high-profile admirers. He’s supported everyone from Johnny Vegas to Peter Kay on tour and often mixes music with witty one-liners; he’s a likable, charismatic presence on stage that will win over an audience as quickly as he did his legion of fans.

Tez Ilyas rounds off the impressive line-up. One of the stars of BBC Three’s hit series Man Like Mobeen, where he plays the titular character’s friend Eight, he’s also flexed his quick-fire comedy muscles on a variety of panel shows and is currently hosting his own satirical chat show on Channel 4, The Tez O’Clock Show. Having previously brought his recent show Teztify to ARC, his return is likely to be just as smart and subversive.

Tez Ilyas, Steve Harris and Mandy Knight perform at Catch 22 Comedy Club at ARC, Stockton on Friday 27th September
