If you haven’t had a chance to catch, er, Catch 22 at Stockton’s ARC recently then there’s no better time to reacquaint yourself with its hilarious antics. It’s back for a new season on Friday 30th January and the line up couldn’t get much better.

Our MC for the night is Danny McLoughlin, who has previously supported the likes of Micky Flanagan and Sean Lock. He’s often described as one of Ireland’s most promising comedians though, as you may suspect from someone who has supported Flanagan, his brand of comedy isn’t for the easily offended (though that’s a bit of a USP for Catch 22).

Joining McLoughlin is Chris Kent, another young upstart on the comedy circuit who has impressed on tours with Dylan Moran and David O’Doherty. John Warburton also joins the fun. Known for his one-liners and occasionally breaking into song at inopportune moments, his odd approach to comedy has been a hit with audiences around the world.

The comedians are so different in style that even the most cynical of audiences should find something to tickle their funny bone in just the right way. It’s a promising start to the new season.
