An arts fair with a distinctly rock and roll edge: that’s what’s on offer at Canny Crafty, a celebration of some of the best food, collectibles, art and apparel the region has to offer, all hosted within one of the region’s oldest pubs. If you’re looking for something a bit different to do on a Sunday or fancy picking up a quirky trinket or two, there’ll be a whole host of vendors bringing their wares to the venue.

Sabine Bespoke will be bringing clothing, homeware and accessories to The Central, while The Painted Skull are doing what it says on the tin and offering a range of arty, hand-painted craniums to decorate your abode with. Artwork is on offer from Brooke Taylor, Laew Moons, CA Illustration, Dabble Dabble and more, while you can get some distinctive macabre lighting from The Death Art. Co. If you’re in the market for some decorations, then Bitch Craft have you covered, while anyone interested in pampering themselves should get their paws on some hand-crafted soap from the Washed Out Soap Company. And that’s just a small selection of what’s on offer!

The whole event will be soundtracked by DJ Sweetie Amour, who’ll be spinning a range of garage, rock and roll and sixties swingin’ sleaze. If the weather holds up, you might also want to pop up to the rooftop, where there’ll be a summer BBQ serving up a range of mouth-watering treats.

Canny Crafty comes to The Central, Gateshead on Sunday 14th June.
