The Cluny will be making a big song and dance for Bridie Jackson and The Arbour arrival when they stop off back on home soil when they bring their delightfully dark and powerful selves to the North East for a hometown gig in Newcastle on Sunday 29th March. The folky four-piece have been making plenty of haunting yet beautiful noise since the debut release of Bitter Lullabies in 2012, with the follow up album New Skin in 2014 culminating in numerous ravishing reviews. Bridie and her brilliantly talented band mates are touring the UK with a new string added to their bow as they’re set to release the brand new single Far From the Tree.

Bridie’s remarkable voice and evocative wordplay combined with the valuable vocal harmonies and subtle string arrangements have wowed many industry experts, earning plenty of accolades including Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition Winners 2013. The quartet will be joined on the night and throughout the whole of their spring tour by both Heg and the Wolf Chorus and Gilmore and Roberts, making for a date not to be missed for fans of award winning folk music.
