It’s getting seriously close to the Edinburgh Fringe right now but there’s just about enough time to squeeze in one or two more shows before the region’s best performers and comedians head across the border to hopefully put on a show that that will help to break their careers. Break A Leg Comedy has long since been keen promoters of comedic talent, so it’s no surprise that for their Edinburgh warm-up show they’re teaming up with some of the region’s biggest names and are having a bit of a knees-up down at Stage 3 at Northern Stage.

MCing the event is much-loved wrestler turned stand-up Lee Kyle, who’ll be introducing the acts for the nights and hopefully giving us a little taste of his extreme wit in-between the sets. He’s joined by Rahul Kohli and Hal Branson, as well as David Callaghan, who has already put in a great effort previewing his Edinburgh show across the region over the past few weeks. The ridiculously funny Sammy Dobson is also on the bill, as is the wonderfully mischievous and altogether endearing Lee Ridley, aka Lost Voice Guy. If you haven’t got your fix of comedy before our region’s best head off to the Fringe, then this spectacular line up will help keep you very much entertained.

Break A Leg Comedy comes to Northern Stage, Newcastle on Thursday 30th July.
