Hot off the back of their Mercury Prize nomination last month, Bombay Bicycle Club roll into town again this week with Sivu and Peace in tow.

With four albums to their name; each with a different sonic identity; expect a variable feast of sounds and instrumentation. Whilst earlier Bombay consisted of premium indie pop with colossal riffs and hooks, what followed was a period of stripped back folksy loveliness in the form of ‘Flaws’. Then turning their hand to a more art rock affair on A Different Kind of Fix; their newest offering So Long, See You Tomorrow is decidedly more synth driven.

And anyone who witnessed their Glastonbury set this year will know that this new experimental foray has given them the gargantuan sound and visual that will undoubtedly now see them at the top of festival bills.

It’s an early curfew, with doors at 6.30pm, so get down early and thank us later.

Bombay Bicycle Club play Newcastle’s O2 Academy on Friday 12th December.
