Dance punk five-piece Bleach Blood will be bringing their frantic energy and beguiling debut album to the North East this month, with two gigs in the region at Think Thank?, Newcastle on Thursday 5th and Ku Bar, Stockton on Friday 6th March.

After The King Blues split up in 2012, guitarist Jamie Jazz pushed on with his quest for a career in music instead of getting “a real job,” pinching musicians from various other groups (one of whom included Yourcodenameis:milo’s Paul Mullen, who has since left the band) and thus, Bleach Blood was born. Their addictive mix of dance punk and indie pop has seen them gain nationwide attention, with Shikari Sound System taking a remixed stab at their 2013 track H.O.P.E. The band’s debut record, All Sides Of A Circle, drops on 2nd March via Transmission Records.

Propping up the bill at both dates will be punk rock outfit The Kenneths, who have received positive reviews due to their hectic live shows. Post-emo quintet Picture Frames also join in the fun at the Newcastle show.

Bleach Blood and The Kenneths play Think Tank?, Newcastle on Thursday 5th (also including Picture Frames) and Ku Bar, Stockton on Friday 6th March.
