Reliably informed

Although the phrase ‘rap-rock hybrid’ may make you break out in a cold sweat, believe me, Middlesbrough’s Bi:Lingual are an exception, standing in a class all of their own. There’s nobody quite like them in the North East right now; Bi:Lingual bridge the gap between genres flawlessly, furiously melding hip-hop with fuzzy rock ‘n’ roll riffs while front man Dylan Teague spits angst-laden lyrics over the cacophony. Making waves around the region with a packed-out set at Stockton Calling and a much-coveted spot at Evolution Emerging, Bi:Lingual are hitting the road with Leeds rockers Fizzy Blood who have a number of impressive accolades under their belts including a slot supporting punk icons Dead Kennedy’s. Bi:Lingual and Fizzy Blood will pay a visit to Stockton’s Ku Bar on Friday 19th June, joined by newcomers Crease who dabble in funk, grunge and psychedelia.
