Due to its success in Manchester, Barking Tales is now coming to Newcastle. A very special comedy night with a twist, The Stand comedy club is the venue for a night of comedy that pushes boundaries and breaks down walls regarding mental health, and it all happens on Sunday 3rd July.

As heard on BBC Ouch, Barking Tales is a comedy night where comedians tell stories or do material concerning mental health, bringing some much needed awareness to a topic that can still often be misunderstood by our society. It’s a small, yet incredibly worthy bid to try to break the stigma. Hosted by Harriet Dyer with her whimsical and charismatic energy, the debut night sees local favourite Matt Reed perform bits from his critically acclaimed show, Stalked. They’ll be joined by comedy powerhouse John Scott and exciting up-and-comer Darren Harriott in a uniquely entertaining evening.

Barking Tales is at The Stand, Newcastle on Sunday 3rd July.
