Little Buildings Rehearsal Rooms in Ouseburn are throwing open their doors on Saturday 8th August to the very best of Newcastle’s growing underground music scene. “The event aims to take the community and camaraderie that accompanied underground music of old and recreate it for ourselves,” says main-man Cole, and they’ve brought in a cracking line-up to make sure it’s a night to remember.

Having just wrapped up the recording of their debut EP, Bares will be showcasing their Brand New/Basement/Nirvana style punk at the top of the bill alongside post-hardcore rockers Shades, who play fresh from a storming set at Evolution Emerging and supporting And So I Watch You From Afar.  Mountains At Sea will bring their big riffs and bigger choruses to the little setting of the Little Buildings and last but not least, there will also be a set from power trio Threadbare. Capacity is extremely limited and all profits will be donated to local causes, so get involved in your local DIY music scene and help put Newcastle well and truly on the map of the underground.

Bares, Shades, Mountains At Sea and Threadbare play Little Buildings, Newcastle on Saturday 8th August.
