Another Trip Around the Sun is a new exhibition at BALTIC 39 that is running from now until 25th October. It’s brought to you by Better Than Strangers, an international group of artists brought together through their time with the BxNU Institute (a centre for international artistic and curatorial research through a partnership between BALTIC and Northumberland University) whose work discusses and explores our contemporary condition and looks at where we’ve come from, where we are and where we might be going.

This is their first ‘in real life’ show, which makes a statement about the innovative, thought provoking work we can expect in the future. Fusing analog and digital visual languages, the artists work provokes questions about commodity, social and institutional flux and forms of communication and representation. It features art from Jade Blood, Odin Coleman, Henry Gonnet, James Hall, Mag Jittaksa, Edward Lawrenson, Miria Miria, David Reynolds and Holly Standen.

The Project Space will be open Wednesday-Sunday, 12.00-5.15pm. Tickets are free and available here.
