The newly launched comedy night at Stockton’s Music Lounge, kicking off on Thursday 5th November, promises ‘proper odd comedy’ – and with the likes of Silly Billies co-founder Jack Gardner and sketch group Heavy Petting (pictured) on board, we’re assuming they mean ‘surreal odd’ rather than ‘just plain weird odd’.

The aforementioned Jack Gardner has had our writers rolling in the aisles on many occasions thanks to his surreal brand of stand-up, which takes the audience on a rollercoaster of quirky comedy, with surprises at every turn. He’s joined by ‘Geordie dyslexic comic’ Sean Turner, who offers up impressions and ramblings with a healthy dose of audience participation, wordplay whizz Carl B Gillespie and bizarre duo Imp Queens, plus the silliness and surreal comedy of Teesside’s finest sketch crew, Heavy Petting.

Bad Laughing looks set to be a night rich in bizarre and downright ridiculous alternative comedy, certain to please all you oddballs out there.

Bad Laughing takes place at Music Lounge, Stockton on Thursday 5th November.
