Award-winning sibling piano and cello duo, CEEYS head to the Ouseburn this month to make their UK debut as part of the Atmospherica series of concerts hosted by Newcastle-cased composer Steve Luck. The show will bring their spellbinding, cinematic music to the 36 Lime Street studio on Thursday 19th July.

Made up of brothers Daniel and Sebastian Selke who originate from Berlin but are now based in Potsdam, the duo have built up quite the name for themselves. Pianist Daniel studied piano and chamber music under Gerald Fauth at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig, while Sebastian works as assistant principal cellist for the prestigious Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg.

With both known for some incredible collaborations, the concert series has excelled in bringing in two talents who are going to impress in an ever increasing popular genre within Newcastle.

CEEYS are at 36 Lime Street, Newcastle on Thursday 19th July.
