With the world at our fingertips and 3.5 billion daily searches on Google alone, is there anything young people don’t know or can’t find out? Created by the team who brought you magical digital theatre experience Mobile, The Paper Birds Theatre Company return with another unique theatrical experience in Ask Me Anything at Live Theatre from Thursday 11th-Saturday 13th July

This high-octane show, full of mischief and mayhem, is based on anonymous letters from teenagers about what they wanted to know but were too afraid to ask adults. It explores what we can teach the next generation or, more importantly, what they can teach us (think Greta Thunberg and Arya Stark).

With breath-taking visuals and cutting-edge design, Live Theatre’s main space will be transformed into the teenagers’ bedrooms and the audience will become immersed in the action, lounging on cushions and beanbags or (if you’re a Nana like me) on more traditional fixed seating.

The production also features live music written and composed by world-class musician, singer and songwriter Rosie Doonan, who’s had eight singles in the UK charts and performed with Peter Gabriel, Coldplay and Birdie, amongst many others.

It’s a great opportunity to catch the show in its early stages before it returns for a longer run at Live Theatre in 2020, and – as with all Paper Birds productions – promises to be insightful, humorous and devilishly clever.
