Critically acclaimed North East comedian Andy Clark has gone and written a book on noisy neighbours – and it has the potential to be the very best thing you can buy as a Christmas present. Maybe for your neighbours? Actually, on a second thought, maybe not.

Andy has been doing stand-up comedy since 2010. His style has received high praise from BBC Radio Scotland star Fred MacAulay. His book has been inspired by the comedian’s own experiences of living both in Tyneside and in London. One day Andy shared his neighbor stories with a friend, who “found the fact that I had made a list hilarious.” And that was how the idea of What The **** Are They Doing There? was born.

“The book is essentially an amusing inventory of those strange and inexplicable noises experienced by the residents of lower-floor properties,” Clark explained. “Although it’s a comedy book, it does have a serious message; never, ever live in a downstairs flat. And upstairs neighbours – we know your game!”
