Reliably informed

Come on, admit it. We’ve all had one too many to drink and have said “I didn’t do that, did I?” the morning after. We don’t often stop to wonder why alcohol has the power to apparently change who we are, but Hannah Walker and Rosa Postlethwaite definitely have. They created Savvy B as a 15-minute performance for bars, clubs, theatres and living rooms, looking at how drinking affects self-confidence and the pros and cons of letting go.

Now Savvy B is being given a whole evening to shine at Alphabetti Theatre from Monday 5th until Saturday 10th September. Well, if they can keep off the Sauvignon Blanc (don’t count on it though). The evening will feature live drinking and a bit of a public shaming for Walker as she re-releases the single she made when she was 16 (surely it can’t be that bad?!). More than just being a bit of a boozy laugh though, An Evening With Savvy B is set to be a very insightful look into the UK’s binge-drinking culture. You might even leave wondering why you reach for that glass of vino every night…
